Two Brothers, One Truck, Twenty Years Ago

In 2004, Dale Allison was tired of watching the companies he worked for cut corners the homeowner would never see. So he and his brother Marcus bought a dump trailer, printed a hundred business cards, and started Allison Roofing out of a single truck in Roseville. The pitch was simple and it hasn’t changed: build the roof the way you’d build it on your own mother’s house, and tell people the truth even when it costs you the sale.

Twenty years later we’ve put on more than 3,800 roofs across Placer and Sacramento counties. We’ve grown to several crews, a real office off Blue Oaks, and GAF certification — but it’s still a family shop. An Allison still walks every finished replacement before we send the bill, and Rosa still knows the regulars by name when they call.
